Welcome to My Spacehey Editor
- The CSS and HTML does not save when you refresh your webpage or close the window.
- A popup will warn you before you close or refresh, so you don’t lose your code.
- If for any reason you need to leave or refresh the page, remember to save the code locally to your computer in a Word Doc, Notepad or other method.
- You can save it to a private Spacehey blog, but since the Spacehey server might be down sometimes, it's safer to save it locally.
- You can open multiple tabs of the same editor to work on different layouts at the same time. This is useful for those of (us) who want to work on different layouts without having to switch to another browser. Just note that the editor won't save any code if you refresh, but as long as you don’t exit or reload the page, your work will be safe.
- The Types of Editors
- The profiles used are filled in with either Lorem Ipsum or fake info to show a completed profile that makes your code look better.
- The Profile Editor allows you to preview how your profile appears to the public.
- The Profile Editor in Friends View lets you see your profile as your friends would. You can see the box [Name is your friend], the [Add Reply] buttons, and the [Logout] button.
- The Blog Editor allows you to preview how your blog appears to the public.
- The Guestbook Blog Version 1 has a simple layout you can edit.
- The Guestbook Blog Version 2 has a more compact layout that shows off the comments better.
- The Blank Blog Template Code is exactly as you see it, with all the blog selectors and comments to help you figure out what’s what.
- The Empty Blog lets you edit what you want into the blog content area.
